Object – training of future teachers in institutions of higher pedagogical education; the aim is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the technology of formation of life-creating potential in future primary school teachers in the process of studying the humanities; methods – theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty – for the first time the technology of formation of life-creating potential in future primary school teachers in the process of studying humanities and stages of its realization (preparatory, basic, final) is substantiated and experimentally tested; structural components (mental, creative, vital); indicators (internal motivation for self-development, professional realization; desire to involve others in creativity, develop their creative abilities in future professional activity; general professional knowledge; knowledge of life-creating potential; developed communication skills and ability to think and act in interaction with other participants in the educational process; adequate adequacy of criticism by teachers / classmates, adequate self-esteem); criteria (personal-motivational, creative-cognitive, activity-reflective) and levels of formation of life-creating potential (high, average, low) of the future primary school teacher; identified ways to develop the life-creating potential of future primary school teachers in the study of humanities, including history and modern realities, philosophy, security of human existence in the environment, the Ukrainian language (for professional purposes), foreign language; the essence of the concept «potential», «life-creating», «life-creating potential of the future primary school teacher» are specified; provisions on updating the techniques, forms and methods of forming life-creating potential in future primary school teachers in the process of studying the humanities were further; results – materials of research can be used in the training of future primary school teachers in higher education institutions to update the content of lectures and practical classes; in the organization of pedagogical practice; in the process of writing term papers and master's theses; in curriculum development; in creating textbooks; in the system of postgraduate education and advanced training of primary school teachers.
