Kovaleva Y. Preparation of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils.

The object of research is the process of professional training of the future teacher of physical education in higher education institutions; the subject of research ? pedagogical conditions of preparation of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities at senior pupils in the educational environment of higher education institution; a set of methods of pedagogical research was used to solve the tasks identified in the study, to obtain reliable data and to test the hypothesis: theoreticals, empiricals, statisticals; the purpose of the research is to substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of effective preparation of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils; the scientific novelty of the research is the following: pedagogical conditions of the preparation of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils are substantiated and experimentally tested for the first time, distinguishing a new personality-oriented and socially significant direction of professional training; the components are described, criteria, indicators are defined and the levels of readiness of future physical education teachers for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils are characterized; the author's special course "Organization and methods of preparation of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils" as the obligatory element of preparation for the teaching practice is tested; a psychological and pedagogical package-support of a student teacher with specific guidelines for the organization of educational and extracurricular sports and mass work on the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior students by means of physical education is worked out; the meanings of the basic concepts and notions of the research are specified: "moral and volitional qualities", "preparation of the future teacher of physical education", "readiness of the future teacher of physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior pupils"; effective forms and methods of training future physical education teachers to organize and conduct educational work on the formation of moral and volitional qualities of senior students in terms of professional training have been further developed.
