Drok L. Staffing in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (1991-2016): historical and statistical analysis

Based on a comprehensive analysis and elaboration of a wide range of published materials and sources, the dissertation presents a theoretical generalization and solution of a topical scientific problem, which is to study the experience of staffing the Armed Forces in 1991-2016, in order to use it in modern reforming the Armed Forces. Of Ukraine. The state of scientific development of the topic is studied and the source base of the research is characterized. The state of the process of recruiting officers through external and internal factors that influenced the formation and development of officers within the chronological framework of the study. The experience of forming the number of officer positions is generalized and systematized, which allowed to consider the dynamics of changes in the number of officer positions, describe its nature, on the basis of the results to identify certain stages and periods of formation and development of officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The study of the stages and periods of formation of the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the methods of applied statistics has become a fundamentally new approach to determining the problems of staffing the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The application of mathematical methods for forecasting the number of officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed to formulate recommendations for improving the efficiency of the system of staffing officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, determining the need and scope of training and retraining of officers for the entire list of military accounting specialties.
