Object - the physical education of lyceum students with enhanced military and physical preparation; purpose - to increase the level of physical preparedness of lyceum students with enhanced military and physical preparation; methods - theoretical analysis and generalization, sociological methods (surveys), pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, methods of statistical processing; novelty - has been substantiated the effectiveness of the wrestling means use in the physical education of lyceums with enhanced military and physical preparation students, which contributed to a more pronounced increase in indicators of physical development, physical and psychophysical preparedness; the structure and content of physical culture programs using the wrestling means; results - is developed and implemented a program of classes using wrestling for students studying in lyceums with enhanced military and physical preparation and experimentally proved its positive impact on their physical improvement, functional and psychophysiological capabilities and level of physical preparedness; the results of the research can be used during mandatory and extracurricular physical education classes with students, as well as for advanced preparation of physical culture teachers of lyceums with enhanced military and physical preparation and also for writing physical education manuals; branch - physical education and sport.
