Essay

The thesis is dedicated to theoretical generalization and new decision of actual task – optimization of population pharmaceutical provision system in conditions of radiation origin emergencies. Scientifically substantiated the organization and methodical approaches for optimization of population pharmaceutical provision in conditions of radiation accidents consequences liquidation. It was detected that list of medicines for prophylaxis and treatment of radiation injuries consists of 128 names of medicines which belongs to 13 groups of World health organization ATC classification. It was justified the need of extemporaneous manufacturing of 0,65% and 0,32% potassium iodine solutions in pharmacies for prophylaxis of radiation injuries in children of different age. Was proposed to establish an industrial manufacturing of potassium iodine solution with a concentration of 65 mg/mL (6,5%) with a dosing device with a possibility to measure 0,25 ml of solution (dosage for newborns), which will allow its using for children of different age and for adults. Justified the necessity to accept a normative act to provide every family living in Nuclear power plant observation area with a domestic radiation protection kit, which include a defined number of medicines and medical supplies to provide a radiation injuries prophylaxis and pre-med aid during a radiation exposure to all members of typical family during one week of radiation accident initial period. Processed a methodical approach to organization of pharmaceutical provision of psychic and behavior disorders prophylaxis and treatment in conditions of radiation accident. Also, was processed a conceptual model of pharmaceutical provision system for population living in Nuclear power plants observation areas.
