Ukraine’s accession to the European Higher Education Area presupposes the need to strengthen cooperation with EU countries in solving the problem of ensuring the quality of modern teacher training. In this context, it is promising to study the experience of teaching students in the Republic of Poland (RP) in order to identify and implement positive ideas in Ukraine. Informational and digital and competence in the field of technology are key competencies that should be formed in students from both countries. Therefore, the topical topic of research is the training of Polish teachers of technology and computer science, identifying opportunities for innovation in the domestic education sector.
The object of research is the training of future teachers of technology and computer science in higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland in the context of integration into the European educational space.
The subject of research – the content, forms and methods as components of the system of training future teachers of technology and computer science in higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland in the second half of XX – beginning of the XXI century.
The purpose of the study is to reveal the system of training future teachers of technology and computer science in higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland and to identify opportunities to use promising ideas of the country’s experience in the field of education in Ukraine.
The scientific novelty of the study is that for the first time:
comprehensively discloses the system of training future teachers of technology and computer science in higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland and reflects it in the model, which is interconnected in whole-motivational, methodological-substantive, procedural and diagnostic components, methodological principles (approaches, principles), types, structure educational institutions that provide educational services and the result;
identified socio-political and socio-economic factors that influenced the modernization of the process of training future teachers of technology and computer science (change of social educational ideals; departure from the dominance of ideological goals in favor of the prevalence of educational; growth of informatization of social, political and economic life; building computer equipment and expanding the scope of its use; equipping industries based on technical innovations and research, strengthening the public demand for training, able to combine work in different industries and vocational education; deepening European integration processes, focusing on European quality standards specialists);
the periodization of the genesis of the system of teacher training in technology and computer science in the Republic of Poland in the second half of the XX – at the beginning of the XXI century is substantiated: 1st stage (1953–1979) – restoration; 2nd stage (1980–1998) – development; 3rd stage (1999–2020) – standardization;
didactic features of the process of training future teachers of technology and computer science (integration of technical, information and psychological-pedagogical components of the content of professional training of future teachers, strengthening the research nature of teaching, intensification of independent work of students, application of simulation teaching methods and practical orientation of professional training);
prospects for the implementation of the ideas of the Polish experience of teacher training in domestic pedagogical institutions of higher education (monitoring of changes in the labor market and their consideration in the organization and content of training of future teachers; in the new socio-economic realities).
The essence of the concepts «system of training future teachers of technology and computer science», «professional training», «professional training of future teachers of technology and computer science» is specified.
Сonditions that reveal the peculiarities of improving the training of future teachers of technology and computer science in the Republic of Poland have been further developed.
