Tanasiichuk E. The archetypal images` genesis of the formation of the individual`s professional orientation.

The object of research is the archetypal images of personality. The purpose is to theoretically determine and empirically investigate the content of archetypes and its conditioning by the specifics of the professional development of a psychologist as a specialist. methods: 1) theoretical: the study and analysis of scientific sources and modern psychological concepts that relate to the archetypal images of personality and the peculiarities of the formation of professional orientation; the classification and systematization of theoretical and empirical dates on the essence of the main manifestations and characteristics of the studied phenomenon; 2) empirical. Novelty: the research substantiates specifics and structure of archetypal images at different stages of professional development, for example, psychological specialists; it proves that the formation of archetypal images does not end at the last course of professional training, or at a certain stage of professionalization; the author's theoretical and research model of professional archetypal images is developed; the research traces the dynamics of formation of professional direction of psychologists; it is shown that professional formation influences the comprehension and categorization of objects and phenomena of professional life on the basis of a certain archetype; it expends scientific ideas about the essence of the archetype; it proves the possibility of using the concept of «archetype» and «archetypal image» in scientific circulation; it contains theoretical and practical achievements on the topic of professional development of psychologists with the allocation of dynamic indicators; methodological basis for using a fairy tale as a psychodiagnostic tool; it shows the importance of the archetypes «Person» and «Shadow» in becoming a specialist; it clarifies that the archetype is an integral unit of professional orientation of the individual; and that during professional training and professional activity the basic archetype of personality undergoes certain dynamic changes: from an undifferentiated, spontaneous image to a clearer and more integrated one. Research results: on the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research the possibilities for further individual and group correction and development of professional efficiency at the stage of professional training are investigated. A dynamic factor model of the archetypal content of personality images is proposed, on the basis of which methodical schemes and methods of correctional and developmental work can be built for use in the practice of providing psychological assistance. Materials of the dissertation research can be useful also at teaching of psychology in various types of educational institutions, in particular disciplines "General psychology", "Introduction to a specialty".
