Essay

The dissertation is devoted to elucidation of morphofunctional reorganization features of the anatomical structures of blood vessels and soft tissues of the hind limbs of the rats during experimental compressive occlusion of the femoral artery, its subsequent decompression and correction with carbacetam. Structural and spatial rearrangement angioarchitectonics peculiarities of the femoral, popliteal and tibial areas, the dynamics of morphometric changes of vascular bed and the soft tissues of hind limbs of the rats in acute ischemia-reperfusion are established. It is experimentally determined, that the local and the systemic reperfusion changes are detected after 1 hour, and reach their peak after 1 day of the experiment. Most of them are gradually reduced and return to the normal range 14 days after removing the tourniquet. The morphological remodeling criteries of the arterial and venous beds under conditions of carbacetam correction were less pronounced phenomena of vascular wall swelling and destructure of the elastic membranes. Pharmacological correction with carbacetam reduces the radiographic, morphological, biochemical, polarized light microscopy and ultrastructure manifestations of damages of vascular bed, skeletal muscles, soft tissues in ischemia-reperfusion and helps to restore most disorders after 7–14 days. Usage of neural network clustering allows to predict the progression of structural changes in the soft tissues of the hind limbs during the development of ischemia and reperfusion based on increased levels of ALT and AST.
