Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation of approaches to the assessment of market positions of antihypertensive drugs on the basis of brand indi¬cators in order to increase the competitiveness of domestic drugs in the product seg¬ment. According to the results of systematization of scientific literature, it is neces¬sary to pay due attention to assessing and forecasting the market potential of drugs that are planned to be introduced into production, and to develop measures to make fuller use of market potential of drugs already produced. The ability to increase the effective¬ness of the innovation policy of manufacturing pharmaceutical companies, increase sales of drugs and influence the increase in market capacity of a particular therapeutic group.
