Myttseva O. Formation of the professional image of the future information technology specialist in the study of social and humanitarian disciplines in higher education institution.

Object: the process professional training of a future information technology specialist in higher education institution. The purpose of the study: identify, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test pedagogical conditions formation of professional image of the future information technology specialist in the study of social and humanitarian disciplines in higher education institution. In the thesis, on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature the genesis of categories such as “image”, “professional image”, “professional image of the future specialists in information technologies” proved that the process of creating the professional image of future information technology specialist reflects the dynamic movement of the applicant of education as a subject of his own development in professional training capable of self-expression and self-improvement throughout his life, thus ensuring the acquisition and introduction of internal and external individual-constitutional, socio-behavioral, professional characteristics, providing for the creation and maintenance of the competitive and attractive image of a potential employee in the IT sphere. The integration of structural individual-constitutional, social-behavioral, professional-competence components is determined, which systematically and purposefully influence the formation of the image of the image carrier, which has a structure: core and components (internal, external, procedural). Criteria, indicators and levels of formation of professional image of future specialists in information technologies are defined. The process is modeled, the pedagogical conditions of formation of professional image of the future information technology specialist at studying of disciplines of a social and humanitarian cycle are theoretically substantiated and experimentally checked. The effectiveness of certain pedagogical conditions has been experimentally proved. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of results of diagnosing experimental and control group before and after conducting forming experiment shows the sustainable improvement of the level of the formation of professional image of the future information technology specialist in the experimental group, which confirms the effectiveness of the proposed pedagogicals conditions for the formation of the professional image of the future information technology specialist in the study of socio-humanitarian disciplines in higher education institution.
