The purpose of the dissertation research is to develop theoretical foundations and scientific and practical approaches to improving the organization of practical training the masters of pharmacy to increasing their competence and meeting the staffing needs of the pharmaceutical market. The historical aspects the organization of practical training have been studied and six main periods of its formation and development have been established. The content and components of practical training have been determined and its functions in educational activity have been revealed. At first a quality management system for the organization of practical training and normative-legal documents on practical training have been developed, according to the requirements of the QMS (quality management system) of the institutions of higher pharmaceutical education. Organizational support of practical training the masters of pharmacy has substantiated. The process model of the practical training organization, the network schedule and a matrix of responsibility the participants of process have constructed. The information-analytical support of practical training in the form of the electronic database the organization of practical training the masters of pharmacy (EDOPT) has developed and processed. The types of risks in practical training have identified and the method of their assessment has offered. A program and a model of cooperation between institutions of higher pharmaceutical education and employers have been developed. The method of monitoring the employment of graduates of institutions of higher pharmaceutical education on the example of NUPh has developed and processed, indicators for assessing the effectiveness of employment have formed. Employment monitoring has tested using the Google form "Alumni Employment Monitoring".
