The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific and applied problem, namely, to the formation of the theoretical base of product management of infrastructure projects and programs in the field of water transport. The purpose of the dissertation is to ensure the effectiveness of infrastructure projects and programs in the field of water transport through the development and practical use the models of products management. The object of research is the processes of product management of infrastructure projects and programs in the field of water transport The subject of research is the product management models of infrastructure projects and programs in the field of water transport. The essence, specificity and system interrelations of infrastructure projects in the field of water transport are established, which in a complex forms a basis for development of models and methods of effective management of these projects. The results of the study are intended for practical use in the activities of government departments and companies (departments of the Ministry of Infrastructure), AMPU, and port companies. The practical use of these results will increase the validity of decisions made on infrastructure projects, taking into account the system links of the infrastructure object - the product of these projects. Models for managing the parameters of project products under different conditions of their autonomy are universal, so their scope is not limited to water transport, so they can be used in the project activities of companies related to infrastructure.
