Allerov V. Conscription campaigns in the Armed Forces of the USSR in the context of the formation of a multiparty system in the Ukrainian SSR (1990 – 1991).

The thesis features of the military recruiting campaigns in the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR in 1990 - 1991 have been studied comprehensively. Military and political factors that positively / negatively impacted the course of military recruiting campaigns are considered as well as measures of central / local state and party authorities that were aimed at resolving military mobilization process have been characterized. The peculiarities related to establishment and activity of military organizations have been analyzed, in addition, the program tasks have been indicated. Over and above that, the scale of the anti-army protest movement in the Ukrainian SSR has been studied, in this context the main tasks of political forces opposed to the communist party of Ukraine have been determined. Issues concerning process of the recruiting military campaigns in the Ukrainian SSR in the light of program documents of political parties and political organizations have been highlighted.
