Essay

The thesis is dedicated to preparation of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students. The historical aspects are revealed in the work, the current state of the problem in the scientific psychological and pedagogical literature is analyzed and on this basis the essence of the concepts “morality”, “ethics”, “moral education”, “moral and ethical education”, “moral and ethical education of high school students”, “humanities teachers”, “preparation of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students” are determined; furthermore, the structure of their readiness to implement the tasks of moral and ethical education of high school students is presented. The main components in the structure of readiness of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students (axiological, professional and gnostic, emotional and volitional, professional and activity-oriented) are determined. Considering works of scientists and component composition of readiness of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students, the criteria of its formation are determined, in particular: motivational and axiological, cognitive, personal and procedural and technological. Levels (situational and adaptive, professional and technological, creative) and indicators of readiness of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students are differentiated. The thesis substantiates and experimentally tests pedagogical conditions of preparation of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students including ensuring positive motivation of students for moral and ethical education of high school students; development of creative educational environment by modeling professional and pedagogical situations; application of innovative teaching technologies and introduction of author's special course “Fundamentals of formation of readiness of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students”. Substantiated pedagogical conditions are the basis of the developed model of the process of preparation of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students. The model of preparation of future humanities teachers for the indicated type of activity was considered as a set of interconnected components-blocks in order to ensure optimal achievement of the identified goal – to increase effectiveness of professional training of future humanities teachers, development of their practical skills necessary for moral and ethical education. high school students. Effectiveness of the offered pedagogical conditions and models of training of future humanities teachers for moral and ethical education of high school students is confirmed by the results of the pedagogical experiment.
