Object – professional preparation of future primary school teachers; the purpose of research is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions for the formation of tolerance of future primary school teachers on the basis of a culturological approach; methods – theoretical, empirical, mathematical statistics; novelty – for the first time the pedagogical conditions and model of formation of tolerance of future primary school teachers are substantiated and experimentally checked; criteria, indicators and levels of tolerance formation on the basis of culturological approach are determined; introduced into the educational process the discipline of choice "Fundamentals of teacher tolerance"; the essence of the concepts "tolerance of the future primary school teacher", "formation of tolerance as a professional quality on the basis of culturological approach" is specified; improved scientific and methodological support of disciplines for the formation of tolerance of future primary school teachers; further development of scientific ideas about the content of professional training of future primary school teachers; results – research materials can be used in the training of future primary school teachers in higher education institutions to update the content of lectures and practical classes, in the organization of pedagogical practice, in the process of writing term papers and master's theses, in the development of educational programs, in creating textbooks, in the system of postgraduate education and advanced training of primary school teachers.
