Essay

The subject of the research is the formation and content of pedagogical ideas and directions of public and educational activities of Adrian Mitrofanovich Toporov in 1915–1984 in the context of socio-political and socio-cultural preconditions for the development of pedagogical education in Ukraine. he purpose of the study is to conduct a holistic analysis of the content of pedagogical heritage and areas of public and educational activity of Adrian Mitrofanovich Toporov and update their importance in the context of reforming modern Ukrainian education. The practical significance of the work is that the formulated conclusions and main provisions of the study enrich historical and pedagogical knowledge, theory and methods of educational work with children, promote awareness of pedagogical heritage and public education of A.M. Toporov and can be used in the preparation of generalizing historical -pedagogical works on the history of Ukrainian pedagogical thought, textbooks and scientific manuals on the history of pedagogy, in the preparation of lectures, practical classes and special courses on disciplines of the pedagogical cycle in higher education, as well as in primary school, in the system of inclusive education, in particular in methodology learning to read, writing literary works, the use of vowel readings in the teaching of language and literature, the system of artistic and aesthetic development, the organization of extracurricular and extracurricular activities, family education; in improving the training of primary school teachers, teachers of philology in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education. The practical significance of the results of the dissertation on the andragogical approach of A.M. Toporov is also determined by the possibility of their use in the third age universities, geriatric institutions and long life learning.
