In the dissertation on the basis of the analysis of a complex of archival and published sources the formation and evolution of bodies of the Soviet prosecutor's office in Podolia during 1922-1928 is investigated. The issue of staffing the activities of the Podolsk Prosecutor's Office is covered. The personnel of the prosecutor's office of the Podolsk province and district prosecutor's offices has been determined. The powers of the central and local bodies of the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR have been defined and outlined in detail. Peculiarities of administrative supervision by the Podolsk Prosecutor's Office and their participation in grain procurement companies are revealed.
