The dissertation is devoted to the research of scientific and pedagogical activity of Bogomolets Oleksandr Oleksandrovych. the conceptual bases of scientific and pedagogical activity of the scientist are investigated and theoretically generalized and to reveal features of development and formation of his scientific schools; the development of the scientific school of O. Bogomolets and its influence on the world achievements of pathophysiological science are characterized; the efficiency of the system of formation of medical and pedagogical competencies of future doctors in the process of professional training in the institution of higher medical education with the use of conceptual bases of scientific and pedagogical heritage of O. Bogomolets is investigated.
