Object: process of professional and pedagogical training of future educators of preschool children in higher education; the goal: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the methodology of forming readiness for educational and cognitive activities of future educators of preschool educational institutions by means of frame technology in the process of professional training; methods: analysis of scientific literature, systematization and classification, modeling, method of collective ideas generation, questionnaires, testing, expert survey, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: the methodology of formation of readiness for educational and cognitive activity of future educators of preschool educational institutions by means of frame technology is substantiated, developed, step-by-step implemented and experimentally checked; criteria, indicators and levels of readiness for educational and cognitive activity of future educators of preschool education institutions are singled out; results: contents of professionally oriented educational components is updated ("Introduction to the specialty", "Preschool pedagogy", "Methods of forming elementary mathematical concepts", "Preschool language didactics", "New information technologies"); a special course "Means of visualization and framing of educational material" is developed, a set of practical tasks (algorithms, exercises with the use of various means of visualization and framing of educational material, training tasks, etc.), guidelines for teachers and students of higher education "Formation of readiness for educational and cognitive activity of future educators of preschool education institutions by means of frame technology", methodical recommendations for educators of preschool education institutions "Children and frames" are developed; diagnostic tools for studying the levels of readiness for educational and cognitive activity of future educators of preschool education institutions; The branch is the theory and methodology of vocational education.
