Semashko K. Analysis and modeling of the shadow economy of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to research, improvement, and further development of theoretical, and scientific and methodical bases of modeling the volume of the shadow economy in Ukraine. The economic essence, features of functioning of the shadow economy, and its interaction with the legal economy are investigated in the dissertation. Analysis of existing methodology and tools for estimating the size of the shadow economy and its forecasting was carried out. A conceptual approach to modeling the size of the shadow economy of the country, which is to determine the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of the shadow economy of Ukraine and develop a system of mathematical models for estimating and forecasting the size of the shadow economy, was proposed.
