Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research, improvement, and development of theore¬tical and methodological foundations of electronic payment system economic security. The dissertation presents a classification of external threats to the security of electronic payment systems. Three main vectors of attacks have been identified: social engineering, fraud with real identity, and fraud with synthetic identity. Considering the trends of using artificial intelligence in payment fraud, the last vector is currently the most dangerous.
