Essay

The object of research is postgraduate education of physics teachers. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate, develop and experimentally test the model of formation of readiness of physics teachers to manage professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education. The scientific novelty of the obtained research results is that: for the first time a model of formation of readiness of physics teachers to manage professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education has been developed and theoretically substantiated; the essential characteristics of the concept "readiness of physics teachers to manage professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education" are specified; the structure of readiness of physics teachers to manage professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education is described; diagnostic tools for assessing the levels (intuitive, reproductive, productive) of readiness of physics teachers to manage professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education are developed; the content, forms and methods of formation the readiness of physics teachers to manage the professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education have been improved; scientific provisions for the formation of the readiness of physics teachers to manage the professional self-determination of students in postgraduate education got the further development.
