Essay

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of the way of life and creative work of TD Medvid in the context of the development of Ukrainian scenography in 1970-2000. Kurbas "Berezil" as a source of formation of creative personality TD Medvid. The stages of its creative formation have been reconstructed and put into scientific circulation. The creative heritage of the artist is analyzed and systematized in the context of the actual system of scenography, "visual directing". The stylistic features of the means of expression and the specifics of the artistic language of its scenographic projects in the system of theatrical synthesis are determined. The contribution of Tatiana Medvid to the development of scenographic art of Ukraine is highlighted.
