Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a comparative administrative and legal analysis of the legislative foundations of the development of the institute of advocacy in Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania. Based on a thorough analysis of scientific works, national legislation and regulatory legal acts, and the practice of their application, a number of scientific conclusions, proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the legislative regulation and administrative and legal mechanism of the functioning of the institute of advocacy in general and the system of advocate self-government in particular have been formulated. A comprehensive comparative legal analysis of the legislation and practice of developing the institute of the bar in the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine has been carried out, detailing the features of the system of bar self-government and further systematizing the areas of implementation of positive experience.
