Essay

This dissertation is all-rount research of the history of social assurance of the industrial workers of Ukraine in the pre-socialist period. The research is devoted to analysis of the activity of various establishments and the tyres of social security of the workers. There are the forward disposition of the social insurance in Ukraine in the end of the XIX- XX centuries. The large attention is given to the clarification of introducing the State Social Insurance in 1912-1917. Merits and demerits in the activity of new insurance institutions in this period are elucidated.
