The dissertation researches the process of professional training of methodologist at the In-service Teacher Training Institutes courses. It confirms a social need of methodologist activities as well as the impotance of improvment of professional training of methodologists for in-service teachers training. There have been created the model of the math professional competence and techiques of the determining of the levels of the professional competence of methodologists. The differentiating syllabuses of professional training, courses of methodologists have been developed.
