Essay

The dissertation covers development of the strength calculation methods and unidirectional-girder-system design for the tankers. It consist of the major equations describing a stress-strain field of unidirectional-girder-system within mathematical models of a different accurancy and complexity. There are decisions obtained for mentioned equations, algorithm and computer programmes are given for the calculations of the stress-strain field of unidirectional-girder-system. An influence of type like a transverse load, boundary conditions and geometrical parameters of the unidirectional-girder-system to the components of stress-strain field has been studied and extended numerous and experimental researches of the stress-strain field are made. A direct design method is developed for the structural design of unidirectional-girder-system in first approach.
