Symonovs'ka M. Dynamics of Ravine Erosion in the Basin of the Dniester River

On the basis of comparative analysis of different age (1925,1955,1985) topography maps (M 1:100000, 1:25000), deciphering of aerophotos, half-stationary researches and calculations of the potential of linear ravine growth, the reasons of the appearance and regularities of the development of linear erosive forms have been established and peculiarities of the extension of different age ravines and their morphology have been discovered in the basin of the Dniester river. Methods: mapping, map-metric, semi-stationary, field. On the basis of the researches a present - day condition of ravine forms has been estimated and main tendencies of the changes of ravine network under the influence of natural and anthropogenous factors have been discovered. Recommendations concerning antierosive organization of the territory, rational usage of lands, their fertility increase have been proposed.
