Research subjects: oil flax. Research objectives: study of influence of pollen ofations selection in F1 on the quality of segregating populations Methods: microgametophytic selection, genetic analysis. Theoretical and practical results:The relationship between gametophyte and sporophyte to stress factors was established. The technique was developed to select valuable genotypes at the level of pollen. Novelty of introduced: For the first time on oil flax the positive relationship was shown between tolerance of gametophyte and sporophyte to high and low temperatures, between gametophytic character "pollen germination and pollen tube growth rate" and sporophytic character "duration of seed germination - flowering stage". Is was shown that selection at the level of pollen considerably influences a structure of populations of sporophytes. Implementation degree:The linear material was developed with high yield, drought tolerance, early ripeness. Effectiveness: Acceleration of selection for drought-, cold t olerance, and early ripeness at the expense of faster selection of valuable genotypes at the level of pollen. Sphere, sector of implementation:oil flax breeding. .
