The dissertation looks into the origine , formation and development of the Polish Magnates Iablonovskys book collection in the seventeenth, eigteenth and the first half of the nineteenth centuries. Special emphasis is placed on the re- construction of the book collection composition in different periods of its history, on the aquisitions of books as well as on its historical and cultural importance.
