Aleksiyevets' M. The Ecological Movement in Ukraine (The Historical Aspect)

The history of the ecological movement in Ukraine. To establish the main peculiarities of the historical process of the national ecological movement origin and its development till the days after the Chornobyl disaster. Methods of the investigation are historico-chronological, comparative and statistical ones.The processes of the ecological movement origin and development in Ukraine are analised in complex, scientific conclusions and practical recommendations concerning the perspectives of the ecological movement and its role in the national nature protection are formulated. The main tendencies and peculiarities of the nature protection ecological movement in Ukraine from ancient times till modern historical period of the national-and-state revival are investigated. The results are used in teaching general and special courses on the ecological movement problems. The sphere of usage is scientific, pedagogical, political as well as public activities.
