The labour forces of Ukraine, involved in paid public works in seasonal branches of agriculture. The development of scientific-methodical and practical approaches to public works arrangement. It was developed determination method of comparative effectiveness of different organisational forms of seasonal works in agriculture. The recommendations for increase of public works use in agriculture were substantiated. It was put into practice of local authorities, some enterprises, study process.
