Khodorovs'kyj M. Freemasonry and Ukraine (after the materials on freemasons' activites in XVIII-th century)

Object of research - freemasonry loge, having formed in Ukraine during XVIII century as well as scientific and creative heritage of freemasons of the Ukrainian origin, whose activity was carried out within the limits of the mentioned period. The Aim of the research is reconstruction of an objective history in development of freemasonry movement in Ukraine in XVIII century. The Methods of research and equipment - historical, logic (system-stuctural), periodizations, problem-chronological, historical-comparative and statistical. Theoretical significance and novelty. A thorough research of a process in development of freemasonry movement in Ukraine in XVIII century has been carried out for the first time. Practical outcomes. The materials of the dissertation can be used to prepare the manuals on a history of freemasonry movement, wordl history of Ukraine. Subject and degree of introduction. The tendencies in development of freemasonry and its influence to social and political life of Ukraine in XVIII ce ntury have been outlined. Efficiency of introduction. The manual "Freemasonry movement in Ukraine (second half of XVIII century)" has been written. Sphere of application. Preparation of scientific works on a history of freemasonry movement in Ukraine, making the biographic articles relating to Ukrainian freemasons intended for the Ukrainian Biographic Dictonary.
