The object of dissertation research is procuratorial supervision over the observance of the law in the field of struggle with crime. The aim of dissertation research is complex analysis of problems of organizational structure and functions of structural subdivisions of regional procurator's office, which supervise the observance of law during pre-court investigation, inquest and operative-search activity. The Methodological basis of dissertation are modern methods of knowledge, which are based on philosophy of universal values. The author uses different methods of research: comparative-legal, systematical-structural, functional, logical-legal, statistical, and other modern methods of scientific knowledge. For the first time the problems of organizational structure of subdivisions of regional, procurator's office, which supervises the observance of law luring pre-court investigation, inquest and operative-search activity are researched on theoretical level. The author makes suggestions concerning its im provement. The conclusions and suggestions, made in the dissertation, can be used in practical activity of procurator's office, during development of the new law of Ukraine "On Procurators office", during the study process in higher educational establishments and faculties, in the system of development of procurator's office staff. Fields of application are law-making, research activity, educational process.
