The dissertation analyses the complex of measures of anti-Catholic policy of the Soviet state in 1920s-1930s, specifically, the distinguishing features of implementation of the principles of state atheism towards Rome Catholic Church on the territory of the Soviet Ukraine. The role of party-state apparatus and security services in realization of anti-Catholic measures is revealed, and the dependency of the state attitude towards Rome Catholic Church on the process of establishment of Totalitarian regime is traced.
