In the dissertation is wholenessly investigated the historical phenomenon of the nomadism in a South-West of Ukraine in second thousand AD on the basis of the complex analysis archaeological and written sources. There are considered the theoretical problems of the nomadism and the questions of a regional history in modern historiography, the role of the nomads as essential factor in system of a contact zone between agricultural and nomadic worlds.
