Zakharova I. The formation of intellectual culture of senior pupils by means of mathematics.

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the intellectual culture formation of senior pupils by means of mathematics, namely by means of the rational choice and use of active methods in the process of teaching depending on the skill level of pupils. Essence, structure and criteria of intellectual culture formation of senior pupils are grounded. Formation technology of pupils' intellectual culture, based on principols of purpose direction in activities, motivative adequatr provision, pupils' recognizing activities stimulation, operative - step-by-step system of skills, - return connection, - and technology of result level estimating of pupils' intellectual development was elaborated and experimentally checked up. Some methodical recommendations for school teachers and a manual confirmed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education were published.
