Dissertation analizes the origin and development of the cameral archeography and bibliography in Ukraine. The attention is focused on Ukrainian document legacy (first of all books and archival documents) and methodes of its representation in Archeographic and bibliographic descriptions and descriptive standards. Special emphasis is placed on the descriptive activities of Archeographic and Bibliographic Commision of the middle XIX-XX cent. The study is used in library Science, Book History, Archeography.
