Objects of research: labor market and the sphere of employment of the Pryazovsky region. Purpose of research: the theoretical substantiation and the assessment of the influence of general and territory-oriented specifical social and economic factors on regional labor market formation and perfection, development of the methodology for regulating regional employment sector processes. Methods of research: methods of the science abstracts, economical, statistical and graphical analysis. Results: the role of labor market in market economy formation is determined; foreign and inside experience of employment processes regulation in the conditions of transient economy is analyzed and systematized; the practice of formation and development of regional labor market in general dynamics' context of employment processes is generalized; factors, which influence on regional labor market formation, are exposed and systematized; the necessity of formation of new approaches to national regional employment policy is sub stantiated; developing perspectives of the regional labor market and the sphere of employment allowing the regional specifics is appreciated.
