175 human kidneys have been taken as the material for the present research. These are 88 male kidneys and 87 female ones. The purpose of the research is to present the morphological characteristics of renal calyces according to the influence of age and sex ( i.e. the factors which can be defined during the person's life).The methods of research which have been used in this work are as follows(1) anatomical,(2) morphological, and(3)statistical. Due to the morphometric analisis the model of the human calico-pelvic complex has been improved. The morphometric classification of the middle and old age person's renal calyces has been presented here also. The obtained results have been used in the edicational process at 14 morphological depatments of the Ukrainian higher medical schools. They can be taken into account in technologcal process of the organ-saving operations on the kidneys
