Yuzefovych V. Socio-demographie aspects of the formation of rurol labour potential in Ukraine

Theoretical justification of the mechanism of formation of rural labour potential, investigation of main tendencies and parameters of its functioning under Ukrainian conditions and reveal the prospects for the formation of labour-active rural population in case of change of economic management forms and regime of its demographic reproduction. Demographic and statistical analysis, economic analysis, programming techniques and economic-and-mathematical and graphic modeling. The thesis justifies theoretic and methodological bases for the formation of economic mechanisms, legal principles and organizational tools related to the category of rural labour potential, as well as demographic improvement of the Ukrainian village and improvement of its social situation; elaborates the assessment of rural labour potential both in macroeconomic aspect and on the micro-level. For the first time a scientific project deals with the solution of socio-economic prolems related to the formation of rural labour potential, radical improvement of social situation in the village and employment transformation under the formation of market relations. Methodological and practical conclusions and proposals have been used in the realization of two research works and two projects requested by ministries and agencies. The proposals were used in the resear paper by Institute of Economics, Ukrainian NAS, on "Employment and revival of state policy on the labour market" submitted to the Administration of the President of Ukraine in 1999.
