GOLUB A. International activity of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Labour Party (1900-1938)

For the first time in Ukrainian historiography the thesis deals with international activity of the USDLP for the whole period of its existence as an independent political power. The problems of European socialism influence with the formation of national Social Democracy, its leader's connection with International II, their attitude towards its desintegration and attempts of reconstitution during World War I and Ukrainian Revolution are considered. The author discusses the role of the USDLP in the process of the formation of Working Social International (WSI) and its activities about overcoming the world working movement dissidence, struggle against totalitarian regimes, militarism, for just solution to the national problems in Ukraine. Mechanism of using the possibilities of WSI by USDLP to struggle for the liberation of Ukraine from foreign enslavement is opened. In conclusion some recommendations about using the experience of international activity of the USDLP by the present Ukrainian social-democra ts are given.
