Political repressions in the Soviet Ukraine us a phenomenon. Political repressions in Soviet Ukraine in the 1920s. Comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon of political repressions, determination of a specific character of political persecutions in Ukraine. Methods: analytical, problem-historical and comparative ones. Scholarly novelty is accounted for by comprehensive interpretation of the mechanism of forming and pursuing the polisy of repressions in Soviet Ukraine in the 1920s. The work is done within the framework of the state programme "People rehabilitated by history". The results are elucidated in two monographs, three documentary editions, seventy-two articles and approbated at eighteen scientific conferences.
