The fight of Cossacks against the Turkis and Tatars, the Moldavian campaigns, the Cossacks' participation in the wars against the Moskow Kindom, the cooperation of the Cossacks and the Goverment were researched. It is cleared up that in this period the Ukrainian Cossacks passed a way of formation as a nonstate armed force of the Ukrainian People. It began to appear as an independent military and political factor in international relations.
