Essay

Efficient systems for aeration of natural water and wastewater. Intensification of natural water and wastewater biological oxidation. Development of experimental research principles of pneumatic aerators and creation of new devices for gas content and bubble size measuring. Development of dynamic model of air bubble size and air bubble rise velocity increase. New designs of polymer tubular aerators that combine air pipe and disperser are reated. The novelty lies in development of the new creation concept for aerators and explanation of reasons for creation of aeration systems with low water resistance and high uniformity of gas flow distribution, as well as in possibility to estimate efficiency of different aerators at the stage of their development and design. New designs of aerators and аeration systems are installed at more than 200 facilities in Ukraine, Russia and other countries of CIS, as well as in many foreign countries. Biological treatment of natural water and wastewater at municipal and ind ustrial facilities.
