On the basis of wide range of the archive and published sources the author of this thesis analyses the political, cultural and scientific conditions of the development of the historical knowledge in the Ukraine SSR in 1920s. Author has developed the new conception of the development of the national historical science. The context of which was the struggle, one was the soviet, which was defended by the power, and the second was the cisized conception which the science society realized.
