Shytyuk M. Mass Repressions in the South of the UkrSSR in 20-s - the beginning of 50-s.

For the first time in the native historiography the complex investigation of formation mechanism and mass repressions implementation against the South-West region of the UkrSSR population in the epoch of Stalinism has been done. The complex of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Russian Federa-tion Security archives documents has been introduced into scientific practice. The information possibilities of the mentioned period of the political repressions subject investigation is revealed. The political repressions mechanism of implementation during 20-s-the first half of 50-s is shown; the peculiarities of the main stages of repressive policy in Ukraine are marked; the specific character of repressions against some social categories of population such as peasantry, working class and intelligentsia are shown. The aspects of political repression implementation against the representatives of the national minorities, religious confessions, religious beliefs and spiritual studies are cleared out. The stages of the ruling party reprisal against the oppositional parties members, social organizations and oppositionally inclined communists are observed.
