Gerasymchuk V. Transformation of Employment and Problem of Labor Market Socialization in Transition Period Economy

This dissertation is devoted to the methodological and applied problems of the formation of a socially oriented labor market and the transformation of the population employment under the conditions of a transition period economy in Ukraine. A new concept has been develop, based on the concept of labor market socialization and regulation of regional-and-industry proportions of employment in accordance with system and structural transformations of economy. The author has proposed a methodology and methods of labor market socialization estimation and a methodology of a factorial social-and-economic estimation of the state and prospects of the regional labor markets development and regulation on the basis of situation management methods. The author also has substantiated theoretical and applied aspects of the formation of a socially-oriented labor market in Ukraine including such constituents as the development of labor potential, the improvement of social-and-labor relations, the formation of the middleclass, and the introduction of an efficient social policy model.
