Object - theoretical bases of a science pharmaco-economics; methods of the pharmacoeconomic analysis, preparation of pharmacists on pharmaco-economics, the purpose - ordering of theoretical bases of pharmacoeconomic in Ukraine, a scientific substantiation of methods the pharmacoeconomic analysis by the example of medical products for treatment of a diabetes ІІ type, a tuberculosis, an arthritis, diseases of urinogenital system, develop-ment of methodical and practical recommendations with the purpose of use of pharmacoeconomics at definition of need for medical products, educational preparation of pharmacists and integration into the international system pharmacoeconomic researches; methods - the system analysis, expert estimations, statistical, semantic, the meta-analysis, the regres-sion analysis, descriptive modeling; Novelty - theo-retical bases of a science pharmacoeconomics in Ukraine for the first time are systematized and their adaptation for use in domestic public health services is lead, "TheProgram of pharma-coeconomic estimations of medical products", methods of the pharmacoeconomic analysis "cost - effectiveness", "cost - benefit", their use which is included in the Register of branch innovations of Healthcare Ukraine №195/17/02 for 2002 for the first time is сreated; Algorithms of methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis are developed and sci-entifically proved in view of the data of evidence based medicine, marketing characteristics of the pharmaceutical market, parameters of disease in Ukraine, by the example of medical products used for treatment of a diabetes ІІ type, a tuberculosis, an arthritis, diseases of urinogenital system, carried out pharmacoeconomic substantiation of lists of the preparations recommended for inclusion in the Formulary according to the State program of main-tenance the population by medical products for 2004-2010; the concept of training on new disci-plines pharmacoeconomics on up to and postgradu-ate stages of education of pharmacists (clinical pharmacists) in Ukraine is proved, the technique of the analysis consumption of medical products is developed on the basis of them "the defined daily doses", recommended WHO, for the specified defi-nition of need for them; Results - are developed me-thodical recommendations, the circular with the pharmacoeconomic analysis of the medical prod-ucts, coordinated in Healthcare Ukraine, is created curriculums, manuals on pharmacoeconomics for preparations of pharmacists and clinical pharmacists on up to postgraduate levels; it is introduced - into activity of Institute of therapy, Institute of urology АМS of Ukraine, pharmaceutical departments, chemist's associations of seven areas of Ukraine, educational process of 12 higher educational medi-cal (pharmaceutical) institutions of Ukraine, Geor-gia, Moldova; areas - pharmacy.
