Essay

The importance of medico-genetic consultation in population medical genetic monitoring system was substantiated. Congenital and hereditary diseases were analysed, segregative and mutation multiplier rate was estimated. Structure of congenital anomaly frequency in Kyiv was estimated. Risk factors forming congenital diseases among newborns, miscarriages and sterile marriages were shown. The system of collection and processing information for prediction genetic changes in population was developed.
